Born and raised in one of the most vibrant cities in the world, Mexico City, Gina's love for the Spanish language and culture was instilled in her from a young age. Her passion for the language and her ability to connect with her students have made her a beloved figure in the classroom.
Gina believes that the best way to learn Spanish is by immersing oneself in the culture. She often incorporates music, art, and literature into her lessons, allowing her students to experience the language in a more meaningful way.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, being a mom, cooking, and walking in the jungle.
Juan hails from Nayarit and is a true scholar of linguistics and literature, having studied in Mexico City, Argentina, and Guanajuato. He began his teaching career right after completing his studies and finds great joy in witnessing his students' progress.
When the workday ends, Juan fully embraces the Sayulita lifestyle with his family, savoring the beach, jungle, waves, ceviche, and cold beer. But what truly sets Juan apart is his personality. He's widely regarded by colleagues and students as a friendly, easy-going individual with an incredible sense of humor. He easily connects with people from all walks of life, and his positive energy and warmth are contagious.
Emilia is a passionate dancer who is from Puebla and now calls Sayulita home. She adores her feline friends and strolls on the beach. Emilia delights in both learning and teaching languages, especially Spanish. Among her favorite Spanish words are piñata, croqueta, golosina, and majestad.

Juan and Gina's love story began in 2012 on Mexico's Independence Day, where they danced to Mexican music and enjoyed tequila under a sky lit up with fireworks. Juan was studying at the Escuela Mexicana de Escritores, and Gina was a science teacher at Edron International High School in Mexico City. Fate brought them together at a party hosted by Dani, Gina's best friend and Juan's roommate.
After moving to Sayulita in 2017, they were inspired to start their own language school from home, teaching Spanish and English on their ocean-view terrace. Baby Leoní grew up listening to her parents teaching, and their business took off.
In 2022, they moved to a new location and grew their team to meet the high demand for their classes. They are excited to share their passion for the Spanish language and culture with you.
